Yoga
Due to the 30 day yoga challenge I’ve decided to make up another page where I can write about the experience:
Heathu:
Day 1:
I just finished my yoga session which lasted about 20 minutes. I used Yoga Zone’s Gentle Yoga Part 1, which I found online for free at Hulu. I wanted something relaxing and not too hard since it is the first day after all ;) But the session was so awesome! I didn’t even notice that the 20 minutes had passed until we were doing corpse pose. I felt a lot calmer and more relaxed which is amazing since it only took 20 minutes. The poses weren’t too difficult, and I’m excited about tomorrow’s yoga session!
Yoga fact 1: It originated in India over 5,000 years ago!

Day 2:
I used Yoga Zone again, but this time I used their yoga basics episode. I thought it would be good to get a good sampling of the different types of yoga there are. This episode was harder than the one I did yesterday, but it was still good. I didn’t feel as relaxed as I did yesterday, but I felt my body was exercising more. I even feel a little energized now than yesterday when I just felt like taking a nap. The poses were a little difficult today, but I think it will just take some practice until I master them.
Yoga fact 2: Yoga can help prevent diseases like asthma, arthritis, depression, and chronic fatigue disorder.
Yoga posture 2: Triangle Pose

Okay girlie, so did you keep up with the yoga? :) I started full force last year and then got lazy and stopped doing it everyday. Now it’s been months since I’ve done at least a full session. I’m so mad at myself. But I want to get back into it. Maybe we should challenge each other. :)

Haha, I only did it for like a week, and then I totally stopped. I was busy with school, and then I was just too lazy to keep at it. I really like it, but I think I need to find a studio since that would keep me motivated. Plus, I would be paying money, and I don’t think I would want to waste that. How long did you keep at it? Nowadays, I sort of want to do some self-defense class [just in case guys get too friendly...I can totally drop kick them ;)], but yoga is still really good for the body, and I love the stretching. A challenge might be good :)……
